The "Steeped in Magic" event was a night to remember, filled with the enchanting atmosphere we had hoped for. It was wonderful to gather a passionate community of readers for an evening of great conversation, delicious tea-themed delights, and a shared love for a good story.

The centerpiece of our gathering was our August book, The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. This was a truly cozy read that had us all falling for the little island of Caltrey. From its delicious jams and gooey cinnamon buns to the lovable dynamic between sassy Caz and sweet Meep, our discussion covered every delightful detail, from fantastical creatures to wild vegetation. It was an absolute pleasure to hear all of your thoughts and feelings about this captivating story.

The ambiance was everything we could have hoped for. Guests mingled happily over a beautiful high tea spread, a delightful array of pastries, cupcakes, teas, and treats that were as visually stunning as they were tasty. The air was filled with chatter and laughter as new friendships were forged and a sense of shared community grew.

The fun didn’t stop there! No event is ever truly complete without some friendly competition. Our basket raffle was a huge success, with a very lucky Brandi Jones taking home a truly incredible collection of bookish goodies. Her prize included a Between Realms Blind Date Book, a stylish Stanley Cup, and a one-of-a-kind sherpa blanket to cozy up with her new reads. We were also delighted to feature incredible local vendors who added to the enchanting atmosphere. Guests were able to enjoy delicious matcha from Meraki by Emilee and get stunning permanent jewelry from Voltage & Vine. We are so grateful for their support in making this event so special.

We're already looking forward to our next event and can't wait to see you all again.
