An Evening at Hogwarts was more magical than I ever could’ve dreamed!
My cup is overflowing with gratitude, joy, and love for all of you - I need to find new ways to express my feelings because I feel like a broken record but I am always just completely floored and overwhelmed with gratitude when these events come to a close, and if I don’t express that first and foremost I’d be doing us all a disservice. I appreciate each and every one of you who come to spend a day with me every month.
The beautiful space at The Venue - Vero Beach came alive with magic as the decor came together to create the elegance of the Great Hall, the school spirit of a Quidditch Match, and the intense competition of the Triwizard Tournament! Our trivia winners were nothing but smug, in true Slytherin fashion.
Our Hogwarts school spirit was on point!! Everyone came decked out in their house attire, which brought me so much joy. Seeing you all fully fitted and committed was just so special! It really brought our Evening at Hogwarts to life in such a magical, spirited way.
I have to take a moment to appreciate the Vivacious Vibe Visionaries, our amazing planning committee. Beth, Carlye, Destinee and Melissa, this would not come together so magically without each of your contributions.
Dumbledores Army Against Hunger Food Drive was a HUGE success, totaling 230 pounds of food, including two hams, and a generous $100 cash donation to our local community. The impact this makes is beyond anything I could’ve imagined! Once again this amazing community is showing up, and caring for our locals in need. A huge thank you to Beth for making this happen!
A highlight worth mentioning as well, our Wall of the Wanted - this was a surprise to all attendees who opted in via VB Booktok Babes community group chats! A special thank you to Carlye for spending her time curating the newspaper articles attached to each one.
All of the stunning paper crafts were created by our lovely Melissa, adding a touch of whimsy and vintage Harry Potter appeal to the space.
Thank you all for motivating, reassuring, and helping curate these events to perfection! Destinee, thank you for your consistent support and dedication to giving perspective and bringing positivity!
